Сүүлийн жилүүдэд онлайн сургалт дээд боловсролд түгээмэл хэрэглэгдэх болсон ч онлайн сургалтын чанарыг үнэлэх нэгдмэл ойлголт, найдвартай хэрэгсэл хангалтгүй хэвээр байна. Иймээс энэхүү өгүүлэл нь дээд боловсролын онлайн сургалтыг үнэлэхэд түгээмэл ашиглагддаг олон улсын 11 хэрэгслийг баримт бичгийн шинжилгээний аргаар харьцуулж, нийтлэг болон ялгаатай талуудыг тодорхойлохыг зорив. Үр дүнгээс харахад ерөнхий мэдээлэл/танилцуулга, үнэлгээ зэрэг шалгуурууд бүх хэрэгсэлд нийтлэг байсан бол суралцагчийн оролцоо/харилцаа, сургалтын материал, агуулга, үйл ажиллагаа өндөр давтамжтай илэрсэн. Харин технологи, хэрэгсэл, хүртээмж, суралцагчийн дэмжлэг, эргэх холбоо зэрэг шалгуурууд харилцан адилгүй байсан нь үнэлгээний зорилго, хэрэглэх нөхцөлөөс хамаарч байгааг илтгэнэ. Мөн ихэнх хэрэгслийн хувьд найдвартай, хүчинтэй байдлын талаарх мэдээлэл хомс байгаа нь тэдгээрийг судалгааны хэмжүүр болгон ашиглахад анхаарах шаардлагатайг харуулж байна. Манай улсад онлайн сургалтын талаарх судалгаа нэмэгдэж байгаа хэдий ч өргөн хэрэглэгддэг, баталгаажсан үнэлгээний хэрэгсэл ховор байгаа тул цаашид олон улсын туршлагад тулгуурласан, Монголын нөхцөлд нийцсэн хэрэгслийг боловсруулах, хэрэгжүүлэх шаардлагатай байна.
